Redemption Plus
Pinnacle
Is a division of Redemption Plus, the premier provider of redemption merchandise,
controls, and expertise to the family entertainment center and educational
learning center industries. Redemption Plus provides great merchandise
and an in depth knowledge of trends and fashions in redemption merchandise.
In addition, they provide a comprehensive series of services to make your
redemption operation successful. For example, the company invented and
offers the only comprehensive Digital Packing List (DPL™ in the
business). Along with shipping your merchandise tagged & bar coded
with your ticket values, this allows the customer to closely manage cost
of sales; the company also provides ongoing consulting support through
the customer success program (another industry first). Committed to innovation
and helping customers to be successful, Redemption Plus's latest innovation
is the Planet Prize On Line Redemption systems.
While Pinnacle consulting clients are certainly not required to utilize
Redemption Plus, most do. Pinnacle president George McAuliffe was a customer
for eight years before merging his businesses into the company, so he
understands first hand the added value Redemption Plus provides. Virtually
all of our clients with redemption centers give Redemption Plus a try
and are happy they did.
Redemption Management System
We create both a "Game Plan" for you and a merchandise plan. In the Game
Plan we establish the game mix and payout standards for redemption games
and direct merchandisers. This is an essential first step to maintaining
your cost of sales budget. We also create a merchandise plan to include:
markup parameters, a full Price Point Matrix (selection of merchandise
and set price points), and we establish merchandise categories. We put
together an initial order customized for the size of your redemption counter
and the expected volume of your facility. Our Redemption Plus merchandisers
are available to come to your facility for the initial stocking of your
redemption center; at that time we will also train your staff in the principles
of merchandising the Redemption Center.
Finally, we can provide you with procedures establishing a 'closed loop"
merchandise control system. This helps you to maximize game sales and
control redemption costs, from ordering, through stocking, redemption
to the customer, periodic inventory and management reporting systems.
Debit Card Systems
We are familiar with all of the major card and redemption management
systems on the market. We are available to assist you in evaluating suppliers,
developing requirements, evaluating economics, and in negotiating final
debit card system proposal. Once selected we will work with you and the
debit card system provider on system configuration and specifications
to customize for Client's operation. We typically assist in coordinating
the install, training, and support with vendor.
KDB, Long Beach, CA
 |
We designed, fabricated and supervised the installation of a conceptually new “Hybrid” Redemption Room for the project’s owners, Trifecta Management Group. Pinnacle had been incubating the concept of a new, “best of both worlds” approach that would combine the open displays of the traditional redemption counter with the retail feel of Redemption Store or Room. The Pinnacle/Redemption Plus design removes the “fourth wall” of the Redemption Store, allowing customers to enter a designated, secure area to shop for redemption merchandise at their leisure. At the same time the merchandise is visually integrated into the game room, and the all important visual/emotional connection between the merchandise and games is maintained. |

Trifecta also selected Pinnacle to implement the Hybrid Redemption Store design in its second location in Long Beach, CA and also selected Redemption Plus as its lead merchandise supplier, adopting the entire Redemption Plus system of controls and enhancements (Toys, Tools, and Training) to executing the redemption experience, in both locations. |

Latitude 30, Jacksonville, FL
 |
Lattitude 30 is a 50,000 square foot venue in which guests can enjoy state-of-the-art boutique bowling, a sumptuous dinner while watching a movie in the cinema, cutting-edge arcade and billiards, sports bar/theater, Las Vegas-style showroom theater, or a chic but casual lunch or dinner in the elegant restaurant, Sunset 30 Tavern & Grill. Pinnacle was brought into the project by Trifecta Management to implement the “Hybrid Redemption Room” design we created for KDB. Redemption Plus was also selected as lead merchandise supplier, implementing the entire Redemption Plus system of controls and enhancements (Toys, Tools, and Training) to executing the redemption experience. |

Sports
Plus Family Entertainment Centers
 |
This
two year engagement was structured as an employment
agreement. Mr. McAuliffe served as an executive officer
of this company and managed the operation of four recreation
and family entertainment centers producing over $30
million in gross revenues from family entertainment
centers, indoor sports facilities, ice rinks, bowling,
restaurant, group sales, and special events. He served
on the design team for the development of Sports Plus,
New Roc City and contributed numerous design changes
and cost savings to the newest of the four locations.
Pinnacle also managed the merchandise, coin operated
game and attraction operations, and purchasing for the
Sports Plus facilities, a division of Family Golf Centers,
Inc. The Ice and Family Entertainment Centers represented
a fraction the company's total sales of $175 million.
After a major acquisition of golf centers by the parent
company failed, the company filed for reorganization
under Chapter 11. Mr. McAuliffe assisted the company
in the sale of the Ice and Family entertainment facilities,
which sold for in excess of $110 million. Many of the
facilities continue in operation today. |

North
Bowl Lanes, North Attleboro, MA
 |
North
Bowl Lanes is an excellent example of a successful modernization
of a traditional bowling center. Pinnacle advised the
ownership, which re-opened in October, 2008, on all
aspects of games and redemption, from design through
systems implementation and operations. A particularly
critical aspect is the integration of games and attractions
into the bowling and food & beverage components
to create 'The North Bowl Lanes Experience.' |
